Board With Video Games MetaFall Contest

Banner_BWVG_1 Are you interested in winning a free video game? Of course, you are! How can you do it? Simple! Participate in the Board With Video Games MetaFall Contest!

The rules are simple. Try to predict the Metacritic scores of the 10 games listed below coming out this fall. Accuracy is what matters, so the closer you are, the fewer points you get. At the end of the contest, the person with the fewest points wins! Need an example?

Say your prediction is Battlefield V is going to get a Metacritic score of 85 and the actual score ends up being 89. You would receive four points. If you had predicted 88, you would receive one point. So, the person who scores the lowest total number of points has the most accurate predictions and will be the winner of the contest!

How to Enter: Send an email to boardwithvg@gmail.com with your scores for the 10 games below.

Entry Due Date: Entries must be submitted by midnight EDT on September 7.

Prize: The winner will receive one standard edition copy of the game of their choosing from the list of 10 games. Whether the game is physical/digital and the platform will be discussed upon conclusion of the contest and what is easiest for the parties involved.

The List of Games: Please submit your scores for the following 10 games:

  1. Marvel's Spider-Man
  2. NBA 2K19
  3. Shadow of the Tomb Raider
  4. Forza Horizon 4
  5. Assassin's Creed Odyssey
  6. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4
  7. Battlefield V
  8. Red Dead Redemption II
  9. Fallout 76
  10. Super Smash Brothers Ultimate

Extraneous Questions and Clarifications:

Aren't the first two games out before the contest deadline? Yes, yes they are. For simplicity (I was not able to find embargo dates for reviews) everyone will get "0" points for the Spider-Man and NBA 2K19.

Why not remove them? We felt it gave a nice balance to the contest and we are genuinely interested in how people think they are going to do. So, feel free to submit your ballots now without fear of being at a disadvantage.

If the game is multi-platform, what score will you use? The PS4 score.
